Friends are paying tribute to the King's Lynn teenager who died after suffering a serious head injury.

Reece Hornibrook passed away on Tuesday (9th July) following a fight on Saddlebow Road.

Norfolk Police and paramedics found the 17-year-old from King's Lynn in a critical condition in the early hours of Sunday morning (7th July).

Reece was taken to the QE for treatment but staff at the hospital couldn't save him.

Today (12th July) his friends will be taking part in a special fundraiser for Reece's family.

They want to help his loved ones cover the youngsters funeral costs.

So they're doing 17 laps around The Walks from 4pm to commemorate the 17 years of Reece's life.

In a statement, Reece's family said:

"He was a gentle giant, always laughing and joking and would do anything for anyone.

"We will remember him as having a huge heart. He was popular and he was our hero."
