Well done Jimmy - you should be so proud.

Those are just some of the messages of support for this King's Lynn man after he turned his life around.

During a special KLFM report - Jimmy Leonard told us about how he overcame his drug addiction with the help of the Purfleet Trust.

You can watch the first part of our report here:

Messages of support poured in for Jimmy after they heard how he's now using his experiences to help others.

Glenn Russell said:

"I can identify with this, I was stuck in a rut not knowing who or where to turn, I eventually got the help I needed and I’m now 13 years clean and sober.

"Well done bud, fantastic achievement."

Mark Jefferis said:

"You're an inspiration to others and I appreciate all the help and support you've given me through my gambling - thank you Jim buddy!"

And Kim Johnson:

"Well done Jimmy said! You are truly an inspiration."

You can hear how Jimmy now supports other clients of the Purfleet Trust by running one of their properties where people can get the same support he did:

He told KLFM:

"In my 20s - I was an alcoholic and was getting in trouble with law because of the alcohol and I ended up in jail.

"I gave up the alcohol but I only replaced it with drug use so I was injecting amphetamines for about 18 years.

"I wouldn't have lived much long and it's took me about 15 months just to come back down to earth."

"I've lost two brothers to drug and alcohol abuse and neither of them made it past 50.

"If the help from Purfleet hadn't been available to me and I hadn't had that hope then this wouldn't have been possible.

"When I moved to one of their new houses - I decided I was going to stop taking drugs and I did.

"Apparently my story helps them to do that and I tend to be able to understand people a lot better because of my experiences.

"I just want to keep at this and help as many people as I can to do the same thing that I've done.

"I want to do everything I can to give them that opportunity."
