A small but significant chapter in their history.
Less than two weeks since their arrival from the USA the first 207 Squadron pilot has taken to the skies from their new home at RAF Marham.
This unit is responsible for teaching pilots to fly the F-35 lightning jets.
The first 207 Squadron flight from RAF Marham was conducted by the Squadron Boss, Wing Commander Scott Williams who said
"Although it's already commonplace to see Lightning aircraft flying from and around RAF Marham, it's particularly significant today that 207 Squadron marks the very beginning of what will be decades of training operations flying from our new home - a small but significant chapter in the Squadron's rich history"

The next few weeks will see the instructors from 207 Squadron taking to the skies to familiarise themselves with the area before the first students will start flying in early-September.
The first student pilots are already at RAF Marham training in the state-of-the-art Full Mission Simulators within the Integrated Training Centre, one of the facilities that have been built as part of the £500 million investment in RAF Marham.
