Heavy showers and potentially thunderstorms are headed to West Norfolk today. (14th Aug).

A yellow weather warning has been issued by the Met Office.

It's for thunderstorms between 2pm and 10pm.

It is yet another weather warning after heavy rain and strong winds affected West Norfolk on Friday and Saturday.

Heavy rain is expected for much of today.

According to the Met Office forecast, we could be spared from thunderstorms but that could change.

The warnings states:

"Where flooding or lightning strikes occur, there is a chance of delays and some cancellations to train and bus services.

There is a slight chance that power cuts could occur and other services to some homes and businesses could be lost."
