Mini meet returns to King's Lynn today

Mini enthusiasts will flock to Kings Lynn Tuesday market place today (1st September).

The Mini Meet is all part of the King's Lynn and West Norfolk Borough Council's free summer events programme.

Over 200 Minis, both modern and classic, are expected to line up for this car show.

It's the perfect chance to show off your beloved Mini, or just come along and admire everyone else's, and enjoy a free family fun day out.

As well as celebrating 60 years of this iconic car, the magnificent market place at the heart of this historic town will be filled with entertainment.

Local bands The Fried Pirates and The Tildens will perform sets during the day, local DJ Mark Purdy completes the line-up.

Towards the end of the event, Cllr Brian Long will be presenting trophies to the owners of the Minis that have been awarded Judges' Choice and the People's Favourite. 

All exhibitors at the event will have the chance to vote and decide the winner of the People's Favourite.
