A formal public inquiry is going to be heard in the New Year.

It's into why Norfolk County Council rejected planning permission for homes in Knights Hill. 

600 new houses were earmarked for creation, but residents were concerned about them coming to the area.

The Planning Committee has rejected proposals to build 600 homes at Knights Hill in a unanimous vote back in March

The council's initial rejection stated concern for protection of the castle area. 

The formal public inquiry will be heard from 14-17 January 2020.
