Primary school kids have been saying #HelloYellow for World Mental Health Day.

It's a campaign that looks at Young People's Mental Health all to raise awareness of the importance of young people's health.

Nelson Academy in Downham Market invited pupils and staff to come to school wearing yellow for the day and any money raised is going towards Young Minds.

The children took part in a range of activities throughout the day in order to promote good mental health.

Gemma Sykes is the Assistant Principal there. She said:

"As a school we are passionate about raising the profile of mental health and ensuring all of our children are aware of how they can maintain a good mental wellbeing.

"The staff have organised lots of activities throughout the day today to help children identify emotions, equip them with resilience tools and look at different ways they can look after their own mental health.

"This is something that we will continue throughout the year."
