West Norfolk mums in business have a place to network.

Teresa is heading up the King's Lynn MIBA group - a place for mums to get support with their businesses or business idea.

The group supports like-minded mums wanting to get into or who already have an established business.

It was initially set up by two sisters who have seven children between them while also running a business.

They struggled to network alongside being a mum.

So they decided to set up this online network for like-minded mums that have childcare, school runs and money to think of as well as their business.

Teresa went along to the Norfolk MIBA group that was held in Downham Market and is now heading up the West Norfolk/King's Lynn group:

"I got involved in it because I started up in business and I wanted to network with people but to be fair normal network places scared me so I went to the first MIBA event in Downham Market at the time and I took a friend along and I loved it!

"We run our network events on a monthly basis so everyone can get together and it's all child-friendly.

"It's a game changer for me. It's taken me out of my comfort zone and I'm meeting more people like me. It has changed me. I've become more confident. I like meeting people now and business wise I've made new connections, I'm getting my business built so it's gonna make a huge change in my life."

She added it's great to get out and meet other people:

"The mums are so friendly and you're getting to see all their products and their businesses as well so you end up supporting each other and it's just a really good tribe. My king's Lynn tribe is magic."

Their first meeting is being held on the 7th of November at the Hungry Horse between 10am and 12pm and will have a talk from guest speaker Tim who'll give his 12 top financial tips.

You can take a look at their Facebook for more information and how to get involved.
