Children from King's Lynn nursery were getting their fingers muddy at the walks this morning (19th November).

They were out with members of the King's Lynn Rotary club planting purple crocuses.

It's all to raise awareness of their Purple4Polio campaign.

The campaign is aimed at eradicating the infectious disease worldwide.

The little ones were joined by members of the King's Lynn Rotary Club, Cllr Elizabeth Nockolds and the team from the Borough Council.

Bulb planting

The cold certainly didn't stop everyone from having fun and learning about planting the flowers.

Each child also took away a bulb in a pot to grow at home.
