A royally heartwarming message.

Prince Harry recorded a special Christmas greeting for the youngsters at Scotty's Little Soldiers.

The King's Lynn based charity care for those who have lost a parent in the armed forces.

Dressed as Father Christmas on a recorded video, Harry sent his festive wishes to nearly 200 children at a party put on by the Scotty's Little Soldiers charity earlier this month.

He told them he wanted to:

"Encourage you guys to look around and realise that you are part of a family.

Having met some of you a few years ago, or most of you, I know how incredibly strong you are.

So yes, losing a parent is incredibly hard but I know that every single one of you by helping each other out that you will have an amazing future ahead of you and a fantastic Christmas as well.

Your parents, they will never be forgotten and you will never be forgotten."

Founded by war widow Nikki Scott, Scotty’s Little Soldiers is a national charity which provides support to children across the UK who have lost a parent who served in the British Armed Forces.

The charity was set up in memory of Nikki’s husband and father to her two children, Corporal Lee Scott, after he was killed in Afghanistan in 2009.

“We’re so grateful to The Duke of Sussex for kindly recording a video message for the bereaved Forces children that attended the Scotty’s Little Soldiers Christmas party earlier this month.

It can be a difficult time of year for these kids, so receiving a heartfelt message from Prince Harry really meant the world to them.

The message was a surprise and the look on their faces was priceless. In the Christmas spirit, we thought we would share it here for all to enjoy!”
