The Hunstanton Coastguard was called out twice over the weekend.

The first was on Saturday morning (11th Jan) to a woman fallen from a horse on Holme beach.

The team then helped get casualty onto a stretcher and then helped transfer her into the Air Ambulance.

They stayed on scene until the air ambulance was ready to take off to make sure the area was secure.

The casualty was then flown to Norfolk and Norwich Hospital.

Later that day the Coastguard was called out to Hunstanton beach.

The team were needed to support Norfolk Constabulary with a search for a high-risk missing person.

Wells Coastguard and Sutton Bridge Coastguard were also requested.

Eventually, after some time of searching news came through that the missing person had been found safely.
