A busy King's Lynn Road will be partially shut over two weekends.

Tennyson Avenue will be closed between midnight on Friday (31st Jan) and 4am Monday (3rd Feb) at the level crossing while work is carried out by Network Rail.

It will then shut again at midnight on the 22nd Feb and reopen at 4am on the 24th.

In a letter to residents Network Rail said:

"As part of the King's Lynn train sidings project our contractors have planned a closure of Tennyson Avenue level crossing.

We are sorry in advance for any disturbance or inconvenience this may cause.

We will be providing a mini bus service taking pedestrians from one side of the level crossing to the other.

There will be two mini buses running during this closure, both accesible with wheelchairs and push chairs."
