Police are investigating an assault in Middleton, in which a teenager was left with a knife injury to his hand.

The 17-year-old was in a car heading towards King's Lynn on the A47 on Saturday night (15 February) at around 10.40pm, when he became involved in an altercation with a group of up to five pedestrians near the car wash.

An 18-year-old from the March area has been arrested in connection with what happened - he's been bailed until next month.
DC Rob Willis from King's Lynn CID said: 

"We are currently trying to establish the exact circumstances leading up to this incident but we believe a number of motorists would have been in the area at the time and may have witnessed the incident. 
"I would urge anyone who may have seen the incident, or has dashcam footage, to contact police."
