Landlords are being encouraged to get their names down for a Question Time advice event in Wisbech.

It's being held at The Boathouse Business Centre tomorrow evening (3 March) between 6-9pm and will help them keep up-to-date with their responsibilities and obligations to tenants.

The free event is being run by Fenland District Council and will begin with legislative updates from the National Landlords Association. It will be followed by a 'Question Time' session with professionals from Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service, the Council's legal, planning and private sector housing services and the bailiff service.

Councillor Samantha Hoy, the Council's Portfolio Holder for Housing, said:

"This is another fantastic opportunity for landlords across Fenland to find out about legislation that impacts them, and for them to ask questions if they have any concerns or needs.

"By supporting landlords and making them more aware of their legal rights and obligations, we can raise the reputation of the sector and ensure that tenants have access to good quality, well managed and safe rental accommodation."

The event is completely free to attend and refreshments will be available. Any landlords wishing to attend are asked to confirm their attendance by midnight tonight (2 March) at (search NLA Wisbech). All landlords who register will receive a copy of the NLA presentation after the event.
