A woman, who's walking the coast of the UK for charity, has arrived in West Norfolk.

The lifeboat team at Wells welcomed Beth Wickes yesterday (9 March), as she continues her quest, which is now into the final leg, heading back to London where she started.

Having started from Tower lifeboat station in London in October 2018, she is walking unsupported, after putting her possessions into store and handing her keys back to her landlady, after graduating from university. Besides taking some time out to explore Britain, she is raising money for the RNLI, Lowland Search and Rescue and Mountain Rescue teams.

Beth is currently completing her adventure by following the coast down through Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex before returning to London in May. Wells lifeboat crew members were delighted to offer her a cuppa and some encouragement at the boathouse, as she walked from Titchwell to Wells yesterday, before setting off for Cley today and then on to Cromer.
