Alive West Norfolk has decided to cancel all classes, gymnastics, swimming lessons and more due to the coronavirus outbreak.

It’s after Monday’s guidance from the government to avoid social contact unless necessary.

It'll affect Lynnsport, St James, Oasis, Downham Market and the King's Lynn Corn Exchange.

The following will be cancelled until 3rd April:

  • Classes
  • Gymnastics
  • Swimming lessons
  • Drop-in sessions (including Tumble Teds)
  • The Easter Holiday programme
  • All events

However, their gyms, pools and pay-as-you-go activities will stay open.

Alive says it’s been paying attention to Public Health England guidance and will now be ramping up the level of cleaning and hygiene in their centres.

They’re urging anyone with symptoms of COVID-19 to stay away from the gym and self-isolate.

Any affected customers should wait to be contacted via email.
