More events have been cancelled in King's Lynn because of coronavirus.

The Borough Council has confirmed a number of summer events have been postponed.

They include the Hanseatic Ski Race, due to take place on 13 and 14 June - the organising committee will review the situation at the end of May to consider a potential date for later this year.

The new jet-ski event scheduled to take place in King's Lynn on 30 and 31 May has also been cancelled, but it's hoped that a round can be held in west Norfolk next year.

Hanse Festival weekend on 13 and 14 May has been postponed with the situation reassessed by the committee in the future.

The Spring Plant and Craft Fair, due to take place on Saturday 30 May, has been cancelled. It is hoped that a date can be set for an Autumn plant and craft fair later this year.

The council has said the health and safety of the public is a priority.
