Help will still be at hand in Fenland over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend.

The District Council's Covid-19 response hub will remain open for anyone needing their support.

The group can help with things like shopping, collecting medicine or even phone calls for anyone feeling lonely.

Cllr Chris Boden, Leader of Fenland District Council, said:

"We are committed to doing whatever is needed to help people directly and to support our communities, particularly our most vulnerable members of society.

"Our COVID-19 response hub supports this by coordinating volunteer efforts, providing support for isolated and shielded people and signposting people to practical help. In its first week it responded to more than 600 calls from residents. If you or someone you know needs help please get in touch on 01354 654321 or at covid19@fenland.gov.uk."
