Visitors have flocked to the coast at Hunstanton in the past two days.

Yesterday was recorded as the hottest day of the year, and it showed - as pictures have emerged of a packed beach and coastal roads filled with cars.

New government guidelines allow people to travel for their daily exercise, but some have raised concerns about the volume of visitors and cars parking on coastal roads.

It is understood the Cliff Top car park was completely full all day on Wednesday.

Owner of the Norfolk Deli, Mark Kacary, said:

"Probably three weeks ago, I took a photograph - there was not a car to be seen, there was nobody around and yet the day looked very similar to today.

"I'm standing on the step of our shop at the moment and there are plenty of cars moving about and plenty of people walking around."

"You do feel that a lot of people have come along thinking it's as thought everything is as it would normally be during peak summertime."
