A man has been airlifted to hospital after a crash involving a lorry on the A134 this morning.

Police were called to the road at Wereham just after 11.30am, after a pedestrian and lorry had been involved in a collision.

Paramedics were also at the scene and an air ambulance was called.

The injured man, who was the pedestrian, has since been taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King's Lynn, with 'serious injuries'.

The road was closed while the incident was dealt with and re-opened at 1.20pm.
