The owners of a Downham Market restaurant say they've been 'heartbroken' by flash flooding which left parts of it underwater.

Arbuckles have revealed the eatery was hit by heavy rain on Wednesday last week, which left 'all internal areas' under 30cm of water.

The Ely restaurant is unaffected and will still open on the 4th of July, subject to government guidance.

Staff took to Facebook to let customers know about what had happened.

They also thanked Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service for tirelessly working to deal with the floodwater.
