Part of Swaffham Road will be closed in Barton Bendish for three weeks later this month.

The stretch between White Road and Narborough Hill will be resurfaced and diversions will be in place.

Work is due to start this Saturday (11 July) to reconstruct the old, word out road surface 20m west of the junction with C122 White Road to 10m north/east of the junction with C45 Narborough Hill and is expected to take three weeks to complete.

Signs will be in place to let people know that businesses are open as usual and when the road is closed there will be a signed diversion route in place.

The work, which will cost £900,000, will be carried out by Norfolk County Council's Community and Environmental Services Department and their contractors.
